My name is Andrew Meyer and I am your new principal at Laurel Elementary School. This is my 11th year in education. My previous experiences are a classroom teacher where I taught math and engineering, a dean of students, an athletic director, and most recently an assistant principal. The University of Cincinnati is where I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2012. Soon after, I earned a master’s degree from the University of MIssissippi.
My time as an educator has been filled with passion and joy. I believe that ALL students can be successful and deserve the best educational experience possible. It is my goal to make sure our students are all given the opportunity to learn and excel. I look forward to teaming up with you to give your students the best education possible.

As we continue to educate our students, I would also like to continue growing the already strong relationships in the community. I truly believe that it takes a village and that village is based on strong relationships. I will continue to focus on communication and committing myself to the education of your children.
